Welcome to the web page of the School of Rural and Surveying Engineering (R&SE), Faculty of Engineering (FE) of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki(AUTh).

The School of Rural and Surveying Engineering (R&SE) of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki was founded in 1962, counting almost a half century of continuous contribution to the sciences of Rural and Surveying Engineering at national and international level.

In the School site you will find information on its administrative structure and infrastructure, as well as the teaching and research activities of its academic staff. Additional information is given on the five year (2004-2009) curriculum which applies to the current academic year (2011-2012), with short descriptions of the offered undergraduate courses, on the members of the teaching and research staff (TRS) and the technical and administrative staff. Somewhat more extensive information is given about the evolution of surveying studies in Greece and the professional activities and employment opportunities of the school graduates.

Links are provided to other sites related to the School and the University (school graduate studies program, the TopoLab computer center, to other University Schools and administration bodies realted to student affairs etc.).

The SCHOOL NEWS and NEWS sites are continuously updated with matters of interest to the School students (announcements, course and examination schedule, etc.) as well to the surveying professionals and the general public (congresses, symposia, meetings, etc.). In the NEWS announcements can be found about position openings for graduate studies and the PhD program, as well as scholarship opportunities notifies to the School.
